what starts well...

Yesterday was a good day, despite the fact that my husband got hurt and needed 6 stitches on his knee (he is o.k.), work was busy and I got a really nice surprise...

Remember the drawing I made from my friend Aidan and that I shared with everybody here?

Well, yesterday I got an email from Aidan's Mom saying she had forgotten to send me the following picture he made from me in December.

This lovely sign of love makes the whole drawing process sooo much worth it, I can't wait to see more of him, he is definitely a great kid and I am happy to know him!

Now, when it comes to kids, there's another one that although I haven't been around him much, he already has a HUGE chunk of my heart, my Godson Julian.

Here's the most updated picture of him I have...

Isn't he adorable?!?!? Can't wait to see him this coming Feb. when we go to Costa Rica for a visit!!!

On a last note, the new banner is "in da' house"! Thanks to everybody for your comments and suggestions, I think I will be using all 3 randomly during the year just to give my blog a little extra, so stay tuned for all 3 coming around : )

Have a wonderful day!!!

I'm sorry to hear about your husband, but am glad he's OK! The new banner looks great, and little kids just brighten the day!

What a great banner, and good idea to use all three of them. Julian is adorable, and the response from Aiden is so moving, what a greatful and wonderful boy :-)
On another note, this has been the most painful day here: My youngest daughters beloved rabbit was put down at the Vet.. It had had some trouble with its legs, and what had happened was that one leg was broken and the rabbit in so great pain, that it had lost weight (it lives outdoors, so we hadn´t really noticed the weight loss) :-( She was totally in a state of pain, and we burried the rabbit this evening, and are going to make a "tomb-stone" for it tomorrow.. So grief, grief and grief, as you can imagine. Hope your husbond is soon recovering totally. Warm greetings from Denmark.
