Yesterday I mention that work decided to let us take 1 hour lunch everyday instead of 1/2 hour, well I was really looking forward to it, packed my bag and camera to go to Smith Cove beach during my lunch and guess what? My manager called in sick and the rest of us had to suck it up and still take only 1/2 an hour because we were short of staff, go figure!
Well, this morning, I got up, had some breakfast (did not exercise because it is my rest day on my routine), took my daily dose of vitamins, showered, got dressed and then as I'm about to leave the house I get a text from my boss saying I should come in from 11am to 4pm...
You see, for me slow=boring= no sales. For my husband slow=good=no problems. This is because he is a broadcaster engineer so when he is busy it's usually because some equipment fail or he needs to fix something on the radio station computers.
So, now I'm home posting this and getting ready to go lay down in the sun for about an hour before I finally head out to work. Tough life, I know!!!
Yesterday I was taking some pictures on our back porch and my dog Sheba was very happy to have me sitting on the floor getting the following shots, so she came running at me and I was able to capture the true essence of my wonderful dog (always happy and always playful).
Check out the shots I took of her and also the shot I took of a Bananaquit visitor as well. Have a great day and hope it's not very slow at work for you!

oh my goodness!!! that picture of your dog in midair is priceless!
and i must say, your pictures make me more than a little bit nostalgic about the six years i lived on maui.
Damn I could imagine how everyone was angry about not getting that extra half an hour!
Yeah, the picture where your dog is in midair made me laugh!!! It was really cute, good timing to take the picture!!
welllllll..... it is a LITTLE hard to feel too sorry for you, having to lie around in the sun, haha :)
No, i know though, being busy at work is actually a very good thing. I guess its slow season over there too? Here as well - although I dont work in the tourist industry so it makes no difference to me.
Hey, I will be arriving in san jose on the 22nd...too late? I have classes still on the 21st so cannot leave before! I do have a day or so to spend in san jose, are there any must-sees?
