Linda was also there picking up a cat that she as well had rescue and got spayed with the same organization (C.A.R.E.- Cayman Animals Rescued Enthusiast) that helped us get our 6 cats spayed and neutered.
At the time she told me that she had 8 cats, all rescued, all fixed and happy living with her and her husband.
Well, on Monday Linda walked in at work looking for me to say good bye as she and her husband are moving back to Canada for good and they are taking with them their 10 rescue cats!!!
Yes, you read it right, 10 kitties, all packed and ready to go!
8 of her cats ready to be taken to AA Cargo to be weighted |
If only there were more people like Linda and Gerry that give their animals the value they deserve and would not abandon them. Way to go guys!
they cats know they are going as well! |
Now, in the case of my husband, he doesn't carry 10 kitties, but just one, Lea- my Mom's kitty, HA!
Have a wonderful Thursday!!!

Wow, that is wonderful! What lucky kitties to have a forever family who will love and stand by them no matter what.
Lucky kitties all around!
I absolutely LOVE that! It just makes my day to hear of caring people like that... love it. I hope they've all made their way safely back to Canada. Bless your friends Mariasol, what great people! Thanks for sharing this uplifting story.
And how cute is that last image :-)
xo
That's a lot of kitties to move to Canada. Goodness ME!! Your mom's kitty is soo cute! I love cats! Have always had both a cat and a dog. Everyone needs a kitty!! ...debbie
Wow! The kennel cost would be outrageous! I think I'd just get one big one!
What cat? I don't have any cat in that picture!
I really love the sentiment in this story, it is how things should naturally be! Who could abandon some cats, they have rescued, and leave to an unknown fate and future? Well, unfortunately some people do, but not your friends. Lucky cats, and lucky owners :-))
PS The new "word verification" from Blogger is very difficult to read (two words, one of them almost impossible to read), so it took me some time trying over and over again to "guess" the words - don´t know if you are aware of this? I have seen that some bloggers have chosen not to use the word verification, so just for your information..
How fun to see all those kitties stacked up and ready to move!
