I could live here...

Day 42- A picture of your dream house.

Well, once again I am not sure if I have a "dream house", because dreams can change the minute you see something you liked better the day before, plus dreams are infinite if that is what you want them to be, right???

But, if I was to try to put into worlds a "dream house" I guess it would have some or all of the following elements;

- It would have to be close to either ocean of forest... no city living for my dream house.

- High ceilings with lots of fans for air circulation.

- BIG family room, spacious and with few walls.

- BIG windows to let the sun shine in and the surroundings be part of the house decoration.

If I was to go with an architectural style, I guess my favorite is the Mexican Modern look, with thick stucco walls and many colors or just plain white... Sort of these styles.

stucco walls is the way to go!

white with color decoration makes every look nice and simple

intense color and contrast with the surrounding nature is the way to go!

outdoor areas are a must

BIG family rooms for everybody's enjoyment
So, I guess that would be close to my dream house... now when it comes to a HOME, I believe my life is pretty close to me dreams!!!

Have a wonderful Sunday!

i heart my pets

Today's photo challenge comes natural to me as it requires to: Post a picture of your pet(s).

Well, if you've read my blog for at least a week, you'll know how much I love my dogs, I really enjoy and cherish their company so I'm constatly posting their picture here.

So here they are, once again (and I'm sure it won't their last time), my lovely dogs; Ditto & Sheba!

Ditto & Sheba: "do we really  have to do this?" Me: STAAAAY!

Ditto: "Stop acting so cute Sheba, otherwise we'll be here forever!"

Ditto: "are we done already? getting bored here..."

Ditto: "o.k. Sheba get closer, I think this might be the last one..."

Are they adorable??? Besides they are such good sports for when it comes for their Momma to take their picture... I love them!

Have a great Saturday!!!

Day 40 - check!

Today's Photo Challenge- A picture of my favorite Disney character.

Well, I don't think I've ever considered that I have a favorite Disney character, but if I was to choose one, I believe the Cheshire Cat from the original Alice in Wonderland movie from 1951 is the one.

Although, I also love the new Tim Burton's version of 2010 and I think Chessur (as the cat is called on the new version) is also pretty cool!

I think this characters has lots of good attributes; first and for most he is a cat, he has cool color stripes, a big huge smile, he has evaporating properties, but also he is kind of crazy and mysterious.

So, there you have it, he is definitely my number 1 in this case!!!

Have a great weekend!

Day 39- A picture of your favorite movie

Today's challenge in a way is kind of hard for me, but not because I don't like movies or because I don't have a favorite one. The problem is, I don't really have just one favorite.

I've never been one of those people that have "absolute favorites" in their life and specially when it comes to movies. I like all sorts of movies; comedy, animations, drama, action and I specially love movies based on real facts...

But, for today's purpose I am going to go with the movie, "Finding Nemo", which is definitely on  my top ten of all times favorite ones.

I like this movie because it's got great animation, the colors are vivid and the reef scenes are very well made. The plot is entertaining all the way, with good enough story for kids but also some adult humor as well.

My favorite character is Gill, because he is the tanks leader, he's experienced (coming from the ocean), he's dark but also has a tender side as well!

So yeah, I guess that would be my choice for today, and although is not my #1 in the book, it's pretty close to be one my favorites. What's your favorite movie???

On another note; Thanks to all my reader/blogger friends that gave me their opinion about the new banner on my blog. I am going to keep this one for a while and until is time for a change again.

Happy Thursday to all!!!

New Look

Just changed the header image of my blog and I could really use your opinion as I'm not 100% sure I like it...

I guess my doubts are mainly because once I upload the photo to the actual blog, the image looses resolution and it looks sort of out of focus, wadda ya think?

Any constructive criticism is gladly welcomed and accepted, thanks!!!

UPDATE

Oooops, actually I just changed it again and I like it much better, now it's got much better resolution and focus... Comments are more than welcome, thanks!!!

1,2,3,4,5...38!

I've been so caught up on the photo challenge lately that I kind of miss blogging. What I don't miss is trying to come up with a good subject or something worth sharing with y'all, as knowing that a photo challenge is taking care of that part, although I do miss sharing some stuff... so I guess today I am going to go beyond the Photo Challenge and share with you a little bit of what I've been doing lately.

As I probably mention it before, we had family here for a couple of days so we were "playing tourists" around the island, did some shopping, visited the Turtle Farm and even the museum (which I've never been to before).
from left: Diane, Me and Janet (my mother in law)
turtles at the Turtle Farm
Turtle Farm Salt Water Lagoon area
We also had an awesome party at my brother's new house, a very big and posh "mansion" that they are house sitting for a few months until the rich owners come back in about 6 to 8 months... ck out their place.

pretty fancy, uh?

pool party @ my brother's new place!

Now, going back to the Photo Challenge.

It's pretty amazing that I'm already on day # 38 as it feels like it was just yesterday that I decided to take on this long challenge... because I mean, 100 days is pretty long, don't you think? I know for sure that many other activities I've tried in the past haven't even last that much, so it's pretty exciting that I've been so consistent with something... finally!!!

Well, today's challenge is a photo of my favorite time of the day... In my case it means when after a days work and driving about 1/2 hour to 45 minutes in island traffic, I pull into our road and I see our dogs (and something my husband) waiting for me in the front deck... Aaaahhhh, that means I'm home, where my heart is, my castle, my refuge, my own private Idaho!!!

I love that time of day, when I get greeted with love and happiness... how about you? What's your favorite time of the day???? Have a wonderful Wednesday!!!

Today I am back to work after a few days off, and I have to say that I feel very well rested and happy to be back to a job that I really enjoy doing.

Today's photo challenge comes at the right time as it consist of posting A picture of the people I spend most of my time with. In this case it's my fellow staff members, all girls.

Here's a picture of us all, it was taken last year for our boss's Christmas Card.

Delicious Sunday

Today the photo challenge is about posting a picture of my favorite place to eat.

Well, I could post a picture of a couple of restaurant where I like to eat, but if it comes to my favorite place I am going to go with my #1 place and food, which is here...

MY MOM'S KITCHEN!!!
I love everything about my Mom's cooking and eating there is always delicious, enjoyable and with the best of company. I am sure plenty can relate to this feeling, right?

If you are ever in Costa Rica, make sure to contact me so you can go visit "La Cocina de Lorena" (see the sign on the picture above? that was made by my husband and me for my Mom's kitchen)... I am already dreaming of my next time there and looking forward to some "comfort food"....Buen provecho!

Have a delicious Sunday :)

Day 34

A picture of your currently most played CD.

Well, I don't play many cds but I got this one last year in Jamaica at the Bob Marley Museum.

It's a double disc and has the best of the best on Mr. Marley, can't never go wrong with his music... So I guess that would be my choice for the photo challenge!

Irie Mon'...! Have a great day!

I did it!

Photo Challenge Day 32: A picture of what you did today.

Well, today is the first day of my "little vacation" that in this case is a "stay-cation" because I am off but not going away.

This morning I finally finished the Amigurumi Gromit I've been working on and that I am donating for tomorrows Cayman Islands Humane Society annual "Fur Ball"... I talked to the organizers and Gromit is going to be an auction item, hopefully it would help raise some good funds to this very important cause of helping the dogs and cat.

Here's a picture of the finally piece ready and packaged for the event.

Isn't he awesome? I think it came out quite nice, but in a way different than the first one I made last years for Christmas... Well, I guess no amigurumi are created equals!

On another note, last night my boss gave some VIP passes and seats, to the opening matches of the Cayman Islands Squash Open Tournament, we had a great time and the matches were excellent.

It was such an honor to be there last night, as we got to see both, Ramy Ashour (from Egypt) who currently holds the spot for the world's No 1 player. And also Nicol David (from Malaysa) and it's the Women's World Champion for the 4th year in a row... They where both amazing!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention that we've already picked up my mother and sister in law with her BF at the airport, drop them at their condo and then they are coming later for dinner...

Have a great day!!!

Day #31

My 100 day Photo Challenge goes on... Today I am in day 31 and it consists of posting a picture of what I wore today. Well, it should be more like what I am wearing today, right?

Day is not over yet and this is a later post because I've been very busy most of the day... So I am keeping it short and sweet!

stylish Me, wearing a GH Ocean Foundation Blue Shirt and black pants... lovely right?

Tomorrow I am going on a little "stay-cation" meaning a vacation where I stay at home, my mother and sister in law arrive today so I am spending some time with them, exciting!

I'll still be posting and I am proud to say, so far so good I have not missed a single day on my photo blog, yey!

Have a great day!

30 days already!

Photo Challenge Day 30- Post a photo of somebody you miss... I miss my uncle Ed, a lot.

He was a great a man, always very wise, caring and loving. He was my Aunt Cynthia's second husband and they got married when I was around 11 years old so he was in my life about 15 years, but during that time I always found talking to him very comforting, he was very fun, easy going and had an amazing way to see life and live life...

my aunt Cynthia & uncle Ed
I am glad God gave me the opportunity to have met him and although our paths only met for a few years, all the love and care he showed my aunt, me and the rest of our family, makes him a huge part of my life.

After I met my now husband Mark, one night when we were dating, I had a dream where I introduced him to my uncle Ed and he "approved"... I am sure it was a real message from uncle Ed, from wherever he is telling me that I chose a good man...

Miss u Uncle Ed and hope to get one of those "bear like" hugs from you one day again, God Bless you!!!

Have a great day!

Smile, it's Monday!

Photo Challenge Day 29- A picture of someone that can always make you smile.

I have to say that many things in life do make me smile, in fact, I sometimes think I smile way to much and at times it seems like there are less and less smiling people in this world- and that needs to change, pronto!

Anyway, but if thinking about someone that can always make me smile, I am almost certain that who is on top of my list it's no other than my dog Sheba...

Sheba is a one of a kind dog, she is so full of life, happy and loving. She cracks me up constantly and like I mentioned on this past post, she is just and "Endless Source of Joy" and with our other dog Ditto they definitely make our family complete!!!

**********************X***********************
On another note, I am very excited because I am about 1/2 way done with an amigurumi project of a crochet "Gromit" dog that I am going to donate as an auction item for a CI Humane Society fund raising Ball that's happening on Friday 8th.

I worked hard during the entire weekend have it ready on time for Fridays event. I had to order some yarn about 3 weeks ago cause I couldn't find the right color here on the island, finally just got the yarn last Friday, so it was a busy non stop time to crochet during the weekend.

Also I am excited because my mother in law and sister in law with her boyfriend are coming to the island for a short visit on Thursday, they'll be here for about 5 day so I am taking some days off from work to spend time with them...

Have a wonderful Day and Week!!!

100-72= Day 28

Today's Challenge- Post a picture of something you are afraid of.

Me, afraid???

Well, the first thing that comes to mind is that I fear the weekend is WAY too short and the work week is WAY too long, LOL!!!!

Now, as far as the photo challenge goes, in all honesty, I have to say, I am probably most afraid of loosing my family, close friends and pets.

It's not so much that I am afraid of dying but mostly I worry about my loved ones suffering before dying, thinking about them gone and living my life without them. They are such a big part of my life that I know their absence will take a little bit of my soul with them.

But I believe in God and his almighty power, I know that we will all be close to him one day, and although this life as we know would no longer exist, to be closer to Him is more than this life can ever be...

Of course there are other things I am afraid of; snakes, hurricanes, earthquakes, a plane crashing while I'm in it (and survive!)... And if I think a little more I can come up with other fears, but today, let's just leave it at that and enjoy our Sunday, shall we?

Have a wonderful day!!!

Family First

Photo Challenge Day 27- A picture of you and a family member...

Today, I am posting a picture of me with my 2 wonderful brothers. These pictures where taken the day of my wedding, the only one wedding of the 3 of us that we all attended.

When my brother Mau got married in Costa Rica back in 2003, at the time I was living in Mexico and I wasn't able to attend their wedding. The, for my brother Gian's wedding in Costa Rica back in 2005, my brother Mau and his wife were unable to attend.

So, I was very happy and grateful to God for giving them both the opportunity to come to mine and we were all together!!!

From Left to Right: Mauricio, Me and Gianfranco
Both my brothers are great people, we have always been really good friends from when we were little kids, during hard times, happy times, party times and anytime I know we are all there for each other no matter what... Although, I will always be "the little sister"!

Have a great Saturday!!!

Foto Friday

Today is day 26 of the photo challenge, wow, time is going by so fast, it's already April 1st and it feels like 2011 is going 200mph, isn't it?

The challenge today calls for a photo of something that means a lot to me, so I've decided to share with you today my most lovable teddy bear from when I was a kid, given to me by my Dad among many others, but this one just simply stole my heart.

He's old, sort of dirty, not very soft anymore but full of all the memories of each night I hold him by my side; because I couldn't sleep, I was scared of some weird noise, or simply because cuddling him meant I was safe and in a wonderful bed.

Now time has passed and although you can see each year on him, that makes him just more special and unique... I believe he came from a carnival stand somewhere in Costa Rica, probably even hand made...

Even his eyes are almost faded completely, his muzzle is almost flat, but I can still see him like brand new, the first time he came into life... When I first led eyes on him, I knew he was here to stay, love u Osito, you mean a lot to me!

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Day 25

Post a picture of your day... Well, I am very proud and happy to say that I've jump back on the exercise wagon.

As of yesterday afternoon and this morning I've started using my EA Sports Active: More Workouts on my Wii once again.

step routine this morning on my Wii

When I first bought the first one of this exercise packages back in 2009 I must say it works great, but of course as any other exercise routine/program in order for it to work, you must keep on doing it, as it's not a magic wand, LOL!

At time when I bought it and I did the 30 day challenge I lost about 15 lbs just doing 1/2 hour a day and eating healthy, so trust me, it works.

As of today I am very committed to get back on it full on, and although my back is still not 100% there, I am taking it slow but I am doing at least 20 minutes every day until I am full on...

So, for anybody out there like me that doesn't feel like joining a gym but rather exercise in the comfort of their own home I really recommend this two Wii platforms,  specially because you can do the 30 day challenge where the systems gives you different routines every day so it's always different, meaning less chance to getting bored with doing the same routine every day...

Have a great day!!!

Photo challenge Day 24

A picture of something you wish you could change.

I wish I could change people's attitude towards animal cruelty and abuse, a way for us to accept, love and care for every single creature that man created as they are one with the human race.

Unfortunately as far as the photo challenge goes, I don't think there's really a picture that would describe what I would like but I am sure many of you reading my blog for a while know exactly my feeling, right?

Have a wonderful day!

And the award goes to...

Today's photo challenge is to post a picture of my favorite book, in my case such book is "The Alchemist" by Paulo Coelho.

I have to say this is my favorite book for many reasons; it's easy to read as is more like a fable but it's got a very nice story filled with love, wisdom and even faith. It's also a magical journey that gives us hope to live life and each minute as if we are here to fulfill our own destiny in the best of ways possible. But I specially like it because it's a story that teaches us the very important "skill" of listening to our heart and always follow our dreams.

This book came to my life at the right time and in the right place; back in 1998 in Israel, I just happened to walk into this little book store and there it was, waiting for me and in English (not in Hebrew like most book there were).

After I read the book for the first time I met this Canadian girl (Shari) who traveled with me a bit during my backpacker days in Israel. Well, just after I offered to book to her so she could read it, she got some very bad news from back home so she unexpectedly had to flight back immediately.

At first she didn't want to take it with her, but I told her once she was finished with it, she can always returned to me, and so she did, about 3 years later I got it back in the mail in Costa Rica... Shari, her fiancee (at the time) and her Mom, all read it and loved it, and so my favorite book returned to me again.

10 years later Shari came to Grand Cayman to visit on a cruise ship!
So, if you are looking for a nice, short story, filled with a nice message of love, dreams and hope, this might just be the book... give it a try and enjoy!

Have a wonderful day!!!

Twenty Two Words

Today's photo challenge is to post a photo of something I wish I was better at... Well, I must say that I wish I was a better with the written word, as writing a book has always been one of my biggest desires.

Although I think my writing has improved quite a bit since I started this blog, I do wish I had a way with words.

I wish my writing to be so good that the feelings and ideas I have, could transport the reader into a different reality. If the worlds I can create and the experiences I can share through my words, could make others not only enjoy my word but also find themselves understanding exactly what I mean and feel.

As I've mentioned before, English is not my first language, so sometimes I find it hard to stick to correct grammatical "rules" and I find it hard to express exactly what I mean... But still I will not prevail and even if I never really get to write or even publish a book, I will still try to improve my writing every day.

Anybody has some tips for me in how to improve my writing? Maybe somebody knows of some "creative writing" course I could take online?

I have some pretty good ideas and even one that I think could be a great pixar animation movie... but first I need to really improve. So for anybody out there reading this today, I would appreciate your input on this, thanks!

Have a wonderful day!!!

Photo Challenge 21

A picture of something you wish you could forget.... No, I don't wish to forget my cat Tica!

Tica, modeling, inquisitive, playful, interested and even trying to drink my coffee.... (click to enlarge).

But, losing Tica was one of the most painful and sad days in my life.

I got Tica (aka Tikis) back in March 2005, she got to me only a couple of weeks old, found by a volunteer for the Humane Society, on the side of the road with her other 3 siblings and her mommy cat killed by a car.

When I first got her, she didn't even had her eyes open, yet! Now, not only she was my very first cat (although my Mom has one but she was never this small when she got hers, Lea). I didn't know much about taking care of a kitten and specially one so small...

Thank God for another volunteer, a local lady that was about the leave the island cause of her husband being very ill, gave me food, a kennel to keep her warm and even a book call "An Idiot's Guide To Cats".... I do have to say the name of the book is not the best, but this was a great guide to help through this very important process...

So, yes, Tica was practically my daughter. I had to feed her "kitty formula" with a syringe, "teach" her how to empty her bowels (as a Mother Cat teaches that herself), teach her how to drink water, how to eat food (both wet and dry), so pretty much, teach her how to be a Cat.

I have to say this was an amazing experience and none of these parts I want to forget...

Anyway, I am not going to get into much details about the tragic and sad day that my lovely Tica disappeared. But I do have to say that the evening of that November day 2006 it's one that I would definitely like to erase from memory, as just the thought of it brings tears to my eyes.

And yes, unfortunately I'm still not over her loss.. I still look for her every time I drive by the area, every time I see a stray cat that looks like her, I can totally see her in their eyes and wish to find her again.

But I also know that a long time has gone by and that having her back is no longer possible. One thing I am happy is of the fact that during the time she was mine, she got spayed, so at least I know wherever she is, there's no worry that she will end up pregnant and having to take care of more kitties on her own...

"No amount of time can erase the memory of a good cat, and no amount of masking tape can ever totally remove his fur from your couch."

Day 20

Photo Challenge Day 20- A picture of somewhere you’d love to travel.

Now, this is a difficult subject for me, because I don't believe this gets answered with just 1 photo as there are more than one place I would like to travel to.

But I guess a place that have always wanted to visit is Australia, but not so much for visiting cities, but mainly for the amazing natural places that it offers; sand dune islands (like Frasier Island), to big rock formations (Ayers rock), the great barrier reef, indigenous cultures, amazing and exotic animals...

And, if I ever do make it "down under" I would specially love the ride on the Great Ocean Road and see the 12 apostles rock formations...

Here are some amazing pictures taken by my friend Francesca who happens to live in Oz...(Another reason for me to visit!!!)

How about you? Any special places you'll like to travel to???

If you want some ideas, you could always visit Amanda + Don's Saturday Around to World and at least do some "cyber travel" via blogs, safe travels!!!

Day 19th

Post a picture of when I was little... Well, not that I've grown in size that much since then... LOL!

Here's me with my Dad on my 1 year birthday party, with my party dress and all... The theme for my party was baby chicks, I had a chicken "pinata" and we gave out yellow baby chicks (alive) to all my friends, dunno who came up with that idea?!?

As a "bonus" I'm also going post 2 picture today!!!

Here's me again, still little, around 6 yrs old, wearing my Mom's high heels... used to love putting on her shoes and "model- catwalk style" around the house!!! But, who didn't, right?

Have a great weekend!!!

insecure, me?

Today's Photo Challenge, day 18th calls for a photo of my biggest insecurity. Well, not that it's going to help much getting over it by sharing it with the world, but here it goes...

My biggest insecurity is got to be my lower belly fat and also to look fat in pictures.

Of course because of this being my biggest insecurity I refuse to post an actual picture of my tummy... but to give you and idea, it's something in the lines of this...

Uuuuugh! I just hate it, and not that I've ever been a flat belly person or even had a "six pack" tummy before, but if only I just could get rid of that "little" mass of fat that is always down there, I would be much more happy and pleased with myself...

Although, don't get me wrong, it's not like this insecurity makes my days miserable, that it forbids me to wear a swimsuit or anything like that...  It's just I wish it wasn't there at all specially because of the fact that I'm not getting any younger, even from the health point of view would be a lot better... I guess I'm just gonna have to commit and make a bigger effort to naturally reduce it with plenty exercise and a healthy diet...

So that is it! How about you, wanna share a little insecurity?... I didn't think so!

Have a great day : )

Day 17th

To post a picture of something that has made a huge impact in your life lately...

Well, I wouldn't say that is was a HUGE impact, but I was deeply moved and inspired when I read the book "Eat, Pray, Love" by Elizabeth Gilbert.

Reading this book was quite a ride, I won't probably put it under the category of "self help" although, that's about all she was doing from beginning to end.

Now "self help" is a pretty wide concept, right? Cause aren't we all always in a constant state to improve our life? Whether we acknowledge it or whether we ask for such help, is another story... But us humans are always in constant pursuit of something, right?

Well, so was Liz in her life, coming from a very hard and difficult break to find herself filled with pleasure (EAT) , rediscovering her faith (PRAY) and then finding balance in her life (LOVE).

There are many things that I can relate to, during the whole book; love for traveling, exploring exotic places and cultures, the love food and beauty, as well as the pursuit to always carry and evolving my faith while keeping (or at least trying to) balance in my life and soul.

Again, this book made some sort of impact in my life from many points of view but in general it also kept me entertained and happy, I highly recommend it to everybody. On the other hand I must say I haven't watch the movie so I don't have any opinion on that.

I will finish my post today to one of the many nice quotes that this book has;

"People think a soul mate is your perfect fit, and that's what everyone wants. But a true soul mate is a mirror, the person who shows you everything that is holding you back, the person who brings you to your own attention so you can change your life."

Have a wonderful day!!!

inspiration found

"Many persons have a wrong idea of what constitutes true happiness.
It is not attained through self-gratification, but through fidelity to a worthy purpose."
Helen Keller
Today's photo challenge is to post a picture of someone who inspires me, and right now I cannot  think of anybody better than a fellow blogger friend, Joan from Gods Little People.
Her blog was one of the very first jewels I found on this "cyber community". Once I started reading her posts I knew that even from miles a part, we share a great love and interest for the well being of all animals and their amazing souls.

The love, care and dedication she puts into helping animals, is an absolute source of respect and inspiration in my life. So today, I give I am grateful to God for people like her and I specially thank her for giving me inspiration that lights my soul through her posts.

If you've never read Joan's blog, perhaps it's time to get inspired and discover that there's a love over spill in every one of her posts and actions.

Have an inspiring day!!!

to do (again)

Have you ever been to place for the first time, but it really feels as if you've been there before? Well, that's how I felt the very first time I visited Israel.

Back in 1994, right after I graduated from high school, my family and me visited Israel on a 4 week vacation.

The very first day we got there, because of the time difference we arrived very late (around 1am) but after a long flight from Amsterdam (where we connected flights from) and a lot of sleep on the plane, we were not tired at all. So me and my brothers decided to go for a little walk in the middle of the "morning" and explore around the hotel in Tel Aviv.

Well, while walking around the streets I felt like I knew exactly where to go; like I knew the streets, the names and it was very easy for me to find our way back to the hotel after exploring around...

Then, life and God blessed me with the opportunity to return there, not one but twice after that very first trip and every time I've been there, is been nothing but amazing experiences always feeling right at home, like I've been there before and I knew the place like a local...

Now, today's photo challenge is to post a picture of "something I want to do before I die".

Well in my case is more like "to do again", because I would choose to go back to Israel one more time, but this time with my wonderful husband. I would love to show him where his roots come from, the amazing culture that the Jewish people have, their approach to life and death, their food, their traditions. Show him that despite the size of their territory, they have a very rich in culture, amazing natural places and how their history is linked to everybody in this world one way or another...

I would love to walk around the streets of Old Jerusalem again, listen to all the many languages that are spoken there daily, being surrounded by people from different cultures.

Climb up to the city of Masala and see the sun rise from up that mountain.

Visit the beautiful Ein Gedi Nature Reserve which is a natural oasis in the middle of the dessert. The Death Sea is just a must see... Or even the Sea of Galilee on the way up to the Golan Heights...

To me it's just amazing that on such a small country, in a matter of hours you can go from the hot dessert to the green and luscious Golan heights, where it even snows some part of the year... Just amazing!

So, yeah, I will definitely put a visit to Israel on my  to do (again) list, before I die.

And for those that mainly know about Israels through the "eyes" and interpretations of the media, when all we hear is about conflict and terrorist attacks, all I have to say that not once while being there in any of my trips I felt threaten or in danger and when you talk to the Israelis, you soon realize that their concept of life is very different that the one we have on the Western Hemisphere and that's one of the many things I admire of their culture!

What about you, any "to do before you die" ideas???

Have a great week!
