Lately I've been on a seefood diet, meaning, "I see food I eat it"!
But at least I try to only focus on good, healthy food... most times!
As most of you know, breakfast is a vital part of our day. When I was high school I was so lazy that I would try to sleep until the very last minute, skipping breakfast most days, perhaps this might be the reason I am over my healthy weight and still dealing with it... But not any more.
Lately I try to eat my protein (eggs and sometimes only egg whites),
Ezekiel bread and berries (oh, and in case you noticed the bacon, well that too but not very often).

I wasn't really a very big fan of fruit for a long time, specially during my "Atkins Phase", but now I am over that and taking advantage of the fact that it is summer so berries are fairly cheap and plenty.

For lunch I've been hooked on vegetables, salads and every now and then fish. Just the other day I had delicious Flying Fish with vegetables lunch, yummy!

For dinner we usually Chicken, sometimes Pasta (which I love but I am conscious it is very starchy), fish and salad/veggies too!
And then, there's the occasion treat, yesterday I had a delicious "psychedelic sorbet" at TCBY, yummy!!!

Now, the seefood diet is not complete without lots of water, lately to make it even better and easier to drink I add a cinnamon stick to my water bottle and drink the water with it as cinnamon is great for your digestion and your metabolism.
How about you, what's your diet? Any special tips to keep your weight down but still enjoy what you love?
Have a great Tuesday!

looks soo good!
Way to go for eating healthy! My biggest struggle is portion size, since once I am eating something I love, I want to keep going even after I get full. I have been working out and drinking more water, though, which helps control my appetite.
Eating is always a balancing act, it seems. But, your meals in this post look mighty good to me. I'd like some fried flying fish, please. Keeping to fresh foods from off my farm helps me keep down weight. Well, sort of. I took after my Mom and haven't had overweight problems, but still, you know...after the 30s years, can bring on slower metabolism.
I am a member of Weight Watcher's....I have been a member for almost 2 yrs. I had lost 44 lbs...I have since gained back about 10 but I have it under control.
In Weight Watcher's you can eat anything that you want, you just have to record the points and apply them to your day. It is the easiest and healthiest plan I have ever been on and was voted best in the U.S.
Something to make you feel better? Fruit on the Weight Watcher's plan is ZERO points...but you still have to eat it in moderation!
Love your cinnamon stick idea for water, I always add lemon to mine, never thought of adding a cinnamon stick, might have to try that!
Wow, delicious and healthy food! As you know, I'm also watching my weight. To cut down on my carbs intake, I take out white rice from my daily meals. Rice is a staple food for Malaysians and I love them to bits BUT I have to cut it off for the sake of my diet! I also eat a lot of vegetables to fill my tummy.
What's for breakfast?
Interesting idea about the cinnamon stick! That would be a different taste. I drink water all day. Sometimes it's boring, but I really don't love juices a lot, except my oj/cran mix in the mornings!
I am addicted to quinoa in the last year! It's sooo good and great to have either plain, in soups, or on salads. I'm also in love with avocados!! They are so healthy for you, too! Now I'm hungry!! lol
