hello, is there anybody out there?

Sometimes I wonder if I am alone out here in this massive world of Blogger.

Yesterday specially, I felt as if I am, as nobody cared to join in the fun and share a Throwback photo, oh well, I will continue doing it every week and hopefully somebody out of my 110 followers decides to give it a try.

And that's the thing with followers and following blogs, those numbers are just numbers and nothing more.

I've been already blogging for more than 2 years, and although lately my "followers" number has increased up to 110 people, on daily basis I perhaps get only about 6 to 8 comments tops, which obviously means that there are about 100 people that really are not there.

Well, that's o.k. just the fact that whoever you came in and check me out, decided to "follow" my ramblings and daily recounts of my so called fabulous life, is already more than I expected!

So, if you really do read my fabulous adventures and enjoy my photos, please make sure to at least say hi every now and then, o.k? Just to remind me that I am not entirely alone out here, in the rain, without an umbrella and with nobody to rescue me... just kidding!

Or not... whatever, it's Friday, so I am sure in the next couple of days I will get over it and come back to my usual rambling, whether anybody is reading or not!

Weather is pretty bad here from last night, lots of showers and specially thunderstorms, hoping it will clear out for the weekend as I've also been nursing an ear infection back to health.

Have a great weekend!

Ugh, I feel so bad that I got sucked into a hundred things yesterday afternoon and just didn't have time to get my Throwback post up on my blog. :( I really need to get better about blogging ahead of time again, and will definitely plan to have something up next week. I absolutely enjoy reading your blog every day -- it's one of my favorites! I know what you mean about the follower numbers, though. I have lots of followers who never stop by, either.

I ALWAYS (or almost always say hi!!!)
I didn't do the blog hop because I have a cat blog and I participate in the pet stuff....that's the only reason why!! Don't hate me!

Hi Sunshine, in the midst of a rainy time ;-) You know I hardly ever write on my blog, so things like blog-hop or throw-back, or whatever it´s called, is not for me, not for now at least...We probably all have different reasons for blogging (or not blogging), but I definitely understand your feelings about noone responding. When one sends something out in the "air", it is natural to want something in return, like a ping-pong game, that one cannot play alone. However, I guess that in blogging, one seldom knows people in person, and actually don´t know if they care or mind or just are "off-line" because their life is filled with other urgent issues. And also - as someone regularely commenting on your blog (and a few others), it sometimes feels strange not to have a respons back to what I write, it being that I don´t have an active blog, where you can write your responses. So, like you have now made commente back to Heather and Caren, it might be an idea to sometimes write a word in respons if something moves you about the responses people make to you - for the sake of the ping-pong, if that´s what you are interested in..?? Whatever, I enjoy reading your blog, and I know you appreciate my responses, since I was one of the lucky ones to recieve your cute crochet fish! And no matter what, I only respond if I want to, so I don´t expect anything back, but WHEN a response comes back, of course I love it ;.)
Have a lovely day, and do continue spreading your lovely signals to the atmosphere, because it DOES make a difference, whether someone writes a respons or not.. xo Anna E

I read all the blogs I follow every night (well, mostly every night!), and sometimes I just don't have a comment. I know how you feel, though, I sometimes wonder if anyone's actually reading what I post!

Hello Sunshine
It's your absentee blogger friend here!
It's Sunday morning and I was lying in bed thinking of you - yes, I really DO think of you, LOL!!
Anyhow, I think of you often but I so rarely get to blogging these days. My life has become consumed by the cats (love it and am not complaining) and I actually find very little time for the things I once seemed to have plenty of time for doing. I'm seriously thinking of getting some volonteers involved in the future. Anyway...
Looking back at your past post I absolutely love the images of your kitties - they look so happy and it seems to me that they feel like "kept cats" lol - and love that gorgeous image from your childhood. Somehow imagine people couldn't keep from pinching your cute cheeks :-))
Take care and hope the sun is back again,
